She wears a Navajo poncho over a Wrangler cowboy cut western denim work shirt, a multicolored bandana, Cowgirl Tuff Woman's Loosen Up Medium Wash Cotton Blend Jeans (bootcut leg opening), Tailride Chaps K Bar J Leather and Ariat Women's Round Up Distressed Leather Cowgirl Boots (Square Toe). | Personal History | Catalina Christian Baptiste (CeeCee) was born in Gillette, Wyoming. She was raised on the family ranch in Rozet, Wyoming. CeeCee is the twin sister, and oldest (by two minutes and forty-five seconds), of Carsyn S. Baptiste; whom are the middle of four children born to Treyton and Alice Baptiste. Her family is relatively wealthy, having close to four hundred head of cattle, and owning several oil and gas wells on their land. CeeCee, like all the children of the Baptiste family, learned early on how to ride horses, as she assisted her father and grandfather, as well as the hired hands, in taking care of the cattle. She was an extremely fast learner of the family business. CeeCee would often be out on the range with the cattle. She loves horseback riding and competing in Cowboy mounted shooting. She has won many local and regional competitions and has steadily moved up the rankings at the national and international competitions. She admires Kenda Lenseigne and was thrilled when she got to attend Lenseigne’s introductory, advanced clinics as well as a private workshop. Catalina is a spiritual person following the Baptiste faith’s tenements, which causes conflict within her as she is a closeted lesbian. The only family members to know of this are her oldest brother, who she admires immensely, Reuben and her sister. Both keep this secret, believing it is her business and her choice to tell people when she is ready. An individual who strives to excel at everything she does, Catalina was accepted to Purdue where she is pursuing a double major in Animal Sciences: Behavior/Well-Being Concentration and Animal Sciences: Animal Production and Industry Concentration. Her sister was also accepted. Then the world turned upside down. She escorted her sister and her current boyfriend, possible fiancé from Lafayette, Indiana to the border of Iowa, crossing the Mississippi over an old train railroad bridge. She reluctantly left her prized horses and mule with her sister and took the 2009 Can-Am Spyder SE5 after securing her saddle bags, weapons, and Ariat® Backpack to the trike she headed east to find her brother. | |
