Posted on Sun Apr 16th, 2023 @ 10:20am by Hale Stratton

Pandemoniun occurred at the site where engineering student Tyler Haines was attacked last night. Students and friends breached the police barricade in order to lay wreaths and light candles. Tyler's parents and younger brother were also in attendance.

A spokesman from the Bangor Police Department indicated that the group was attacked by an unknown number of individuals, apparently dressed up as zombies. While witness accounts are confused, some facts are certain. Tyler's parents died on the scene; his brother, Richard Haines, is currently fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Joseph's Regional Hospital as are three others. Their names are being withheld pending notification of the families.

Detective Glenn Lee, of the Bangor Police Department, said that an investigation is underway and the public is asked to call 911 immediately if any of these "zombies" are located. "For your own safety", Detective Lee added, "do not approach. They are violent and highly dangerous."
