TJ came into the tent, he and Kelly called home, and he saw Kelly sitting on the side of the cot. "Hiya there light of my life, what's new?" He asked as he walked closed and leaning over kissed her, all the while keeping his hands behind his back and out of Kelly's sight at least temporarily.
“Nothing good I’m afraid, this place it isn’t safe any more. Walkers found their way in, what’s to stop more from doing the same?” Kelly sighed. “I’m Sorry! I don’t mean to be so down when you’ve just gotten back.”
"It is okay. You aren't down, you are being honest and always be honest. We can face anything together and conquer it. Truth is we're probably going to have to move to somewhere that is safe, and we can secure." TJ replied.
Kelly nodded. "We came here because we thought this would be a safe place to start setting up homes, but it's not exactly proved to be the best option."
"I still believe we made the right decision. This may not be the right place for the group but the decision to leave where we were was correct." He offered a hopeful smile. "Oh." He said changing the subject, "I got you something." As he brought his hands from around his back to hand Kelly a brush set to keep her hair manageable and tangle free. "I love you, Kelly." He added.
Kelly couldn’t help but smile, TJ was always bringing her thoughtful gifts. “Thank you TJ, you’re wonderful you know that?”
TJ blushed at Kelly's compliment. "I don't know about that. What I do know is I love you very much and that you Kelly Cardona are the most important thing in my life."
Kelly smiled. “I know, and you are the most important thing to me as well. No matter what the future holds we have each other, and that’s how I want it to be.”
TJ moved closer to her; Kelly was the love of his life. As he reached her, he wrapped his arms around her in a loving hug. "I couldn't agree more with that statement, and it is exactly how I want it to be."
Kelly hugged him back, this was what she loved about being with TJ. She closed her eyes simply enjoying the closeness of being with the man she loved.
TJ kissed Kelly softly. "You and me, Kelly, untied we can do anything. Nothing is impossible as long as we are together. We will make it, Kelly, I know we will. This group of ours will make it. We just have to stay strong and not lose hope."
Kelly nodded. “These people are the best chance we have, as a group were stronger together. Besides there’ll be a baby around in the next few months and Thea will need all the help she can get.”
TJ nodded, "Right you are. Now more than ever we need to stay united, no splintering or people trying to go it alone, that's suicide." He offered a smile to Kelly. "We'll find another place, a better place. One we can secure and defend properly if we need to."
Kelly nodded. “Damn right we will. I’m not willing to let any harm come to anyone here especially that baby, and maybe one day we’ll have kids of our own too?”
TJ smiled and nodded. "Right you are." He replied. Then a smile crossed his face. "I think one day that would be absolutely wonderful. I know you will make a great mom."
Kelly nodded. “I hope so. There’s no rush it’s just something I got to thinking about, given what’s happening in the world right now.”
TJ smiled, "Never let go of that dream because we will make it and one day we will have children, and the world will we make now will be theirs."
Kelly nodded. “Fingers crossed” she smiled. “Let’s get our things sorted.”
TJ nodded, "Fingers, eyes and toes crossed." He teased.
Right you are, let's get this done."
