Thanks to the efforts of Ray (who writes for Alonzo Blazevic), we have a new and improved manifest that better fits the needs of our particular sim.

We're organized by families and those who are single are listed under 'The Unattached'. If your situation changes and you become part of someone's family, then we'll switch you around.

Military designations are no longer going to be shown on the manifest and you'll see that they've been removed for you -- we're doing that for two reasons. One, it's no longer a part of our reality and two,…

Congratulations, Survivors!

We started our first episode, Bangor or Bust, Saturday, 15 April 2023. Tomorrow, nearly a year later, we will finally finish it. For those who like stats, we have, as a group, written 332 posts for this episode, 34 of them in the past month. And now, nearly a year later, its time to move on. There will be a short post tomorrow explaining what happens to the safe zone and after that, Bangor or Bust will be closed for posting and we'll be moving into the new episode (I'm thinking about "Winter is Coming" as a title).…

Hello, Survivors,

Been having a couple days of good weather here, sort of like the first promise of Spring, and its been lovely. Also, Watson, my cat, discovered Cat TV (its a YouTube channel) and he loves it. For a cat who absolutely refuses to go anywhere near the outside world, he's been mighty brave swatting at those birds.

No changes in the number of writers this month so we're still holding at eight. We are losing a couple of NPCs though -- Courtney, Jordan, Father Dominic I believe. Not sure about Bao (been quiet since the delivery)…

Hello, Survivors,

Okay, its been an embarrassingly long time since I've done this so, let me start by offering my profound apologies. Had a bit of a Star Trek sim burnout going on and a lot of things fell by the wayside. Things are better now and I'm totally back.

We added two survivors, Stephen Wolff and Reuben Baptiste. That brought us up to nine writers. Course, Stephen dropped out again so we have added one new writer -- which means two service dogs and three military personnel. The world has never seemed safer, eh?

Gray skies canvased the horizon, blocking the sun. Rumbling thunderstorms brewed from a distance. Devon's wary hazel eyes watched ahead, watching the dark clouds swirling. In her mid-twenties, she sported a strong, athletic lean physique after years of wilderness survival. Feeling humid and hot, she pulled her jacket off and set it against her bag. it was getting dark as the boats approached the dock. Ami climbed to the bow of the flatbed boat and pulled her knife. She was watching and waiting for the right time to cut the tow lines and coast into the dock on the opposite side to the Yacht.

Roman had saved checking on Thea for last. He and Dr. Reynolds had divided the survivors between them and Thea was his case to watch and take care of. No doubt due to the attraction between Thea and himself. Each day brought her one day closer to delivering her baby and he was doing everything he could to help her .

TJ crept slightly through the woods. He knew Kelly was somewhere off to his right as they tracked a deer through the thick forest. He moved quietly, stealthily as possible as he didn't want to spook the deer. Bringing it down would greatly help the food supply for the group. Not mention the meat would do them all good and the skin could be used as well. Nothing would go to waste in this new world they found themselves in.

I’m writing this by flashlight, tucked up in the attic room of the farmhouse, where the roof creaks when the wind shifts. The others are asleep — or pretending to be. I think Patrick is still whispering with Andrew, but I don’t have the energy to check. My back hurts, my knees are sore, and I smell like cow. Which, weirdly, isn’t the worst thing anymore. I will grab a shower soon.

We found cattle today. Actual, real, living cows. In the woods.

The sun has set, and the quiet is settling into the walls — or as quiet as it ever gets with this many people under one roof. The fire in the hearth is down to glowing coals. At the evening meal and campfire meeting I caught him dividing his plate in half and giving Thea the the half he separated. He then ate half of his portion and feed Kenny the other half. Reuben talked with Catalina when she had joined with him in helping the group. During the stops for the evening on the way to Hale's property Catalina filled him in on how the ranch and family were doing. Apparently their father was quick to realize the situation and started the process of fortifying the ranch, He had the hands bring the cattle in closer for the rest of the year and would decide in mid spring what to do about how to safely graze them. He and the hands also began working on the barb wire around the ranch.

Well found Sandwich, he deviated from his emergency escape route and hookup with a group of survivors. Not sure about the group but they appear to be decent folks. The leader, Hale Stratton, is very similar to Sandwich; dark, brooding and all military. I suspect there is more under the man other than being a Major in the Rangers. I cannot quite sure what it is yet; but never mind that. Sandwich has decided to continue travelling with the group, so I am tagging along as well. He states he will decide what to do…
